I have no idea if Ecotech has actually done any research on that Tailonz TPU pneumatic tubing but it is way too hard and rigid to be used in a peristaltic pump. It has zero flexibility and is even impossible to install on the pump. I simply stopped halfway through installation since I was afraid of breaking the pump mechanism. It is literally cheap TPU or vinyl (plastic) tubing. It is not soft silicone tubing like the original. DO NOT BUY!!

While it is stiffer than traditional silicone tubing, dosing tubing does not have to be 'soft' to function properly. In fact, the added rigidity helps prevent collapse and maintain consistent dosing accuracy over time. Proper installation may require warming the tubing slightly (e.g., with warm water) to improve flexibility during setup.
