American Marine Pinpoint II Calcium Monitor

Disappointed to say the least...first one didn’t work at all right away ...contacted the manufacturer they sent me new calibration fluid and still nothing.. so back and forth emails between supplier and manufacturer. I then had to pay to return the monitor to reef supplies who then sent out a new one...(btw Ray said I could have my money back and I should have took it) the new one may or may not work..it reads but it’s all over the place.. recalibrated and same thing... junk don’t waste your money. @Shawn. We apologize that the first unit had issues. Its happens with the best of them, what is important is that you are covered under warranty. When you deal with us and with manufactures such s pinpoint you need not worry. We deal with warranty in-house, so when ever there is a return, you send it to us and not the USA. That saves our clients a ton of aggravation. In this case, pinpoint first suggested new calibration fluid. They sent you the fluid. Only then were they able to confirm the unit was bad. We then replaced it for you. As for the new unit being “all over the place”, this is somewhat normal. Unlike a refracto, these are very very sensitive and the conductivity will jump around with from slight changes in your tank. This is true with any electronic conductivity monitor
