Product is solid. But it keeps overflowing and i don't know how to control it to trust it. Advice would be appreciated . i cant run it more than a few minutes before it overflows onto my floor.

Thank you for your recent purchase! I wanted to share a few tips to ensure your new skimmer performs at its best:

Break-In Period: It typically takes about 1-2 weeks for a skimmer to break in fully. During this time, it may seem a bit inconsistent, but this is completely normal.

White Vinegar Bath (Optional): To speed up the break-in period, you can give the skimmer parts a quick bath using a 90/10 mix of water and white vinegar. This helps remove any manufacturing residues that might affect performance. Simply rinse the parts thoroughly with fresh water afterward.

New Aquarium Setup: If your tank is brand new and still cycling, the skimmer may overflow because of the lack of a stable bioload. In this case, it’s best to hold off on using the skimmer until the aquarium has matured and supports some livestock.
